Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting physicians and assuring the efficient day-to-day clinical operations of the outpatient physician practice.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the outpatient physician practice.
• Maintenance and preparation of treatment areas, medical equipment and supplies.
• Examine and triage patients.
• Assist physicians with clinical procedures such as fluoroscopically-guided epidural spine injections, botulinum toxin injections and joint injections, including prioritizing and facilitating scheduling, instruction of patients and families in pre-op preparations, and providing hand-on assistance during procedures such as positioning patients or managing physician equipment needs.
• Participate in the rehabilitative care of patients throughout the lifespan.
• Obtaining and informing physicians and patients of laboratory, radiologic, or other diagnostic testing.
• Review laboratory results and other clinical information pertinent to patient health, order appropriate tests and other ancillary services as needed, and develop care plans for patients.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of department Medical and Practice Associates.
• Assisting patients with coordination of services.
• Complete patient history and disability forms and submit prescriptions as needed.
• Work on special projects and perform other related duties assigned or requested.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed in the State of New York.
• Physician practice experience preferred.
• Must have excellent clinical skills in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of staff and must have an understanding of patient confidentiality.
• Must be highly motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual who can be creative and take initiative as needed.
• Bilingual with Spanish is preferred.

Annual Salary Ranges: $75,000.00 - $108,000.00

Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
